Welcome.

These are the thoughts, illustrations, visions, pictures, and images that inspire me, inner dialogues, and conversations, or things that I've heard.

Multi-Colored Obama Christmas Ornament

This is the ornament that I did for my Mom & Dad for Christmas. I do Christmas ornaments for the family and friends every year for Christmas. So this year I figured it was timely to do one about the newly elected president.

Hope Barack Obama Christmas Ornament

This Hope Ornament is going to my brother for Christmas. I did have it listed on Etsy, but after my discovery today of not being able to recreate them....I took it down and am going to spray it and put it on it's ribbon and wrap it up for Mike for Christmas.

Frosted Obama Ornament

This ornament, I also added "Pray for our Leader! 1 Timothy 2:14" on this ornament. I originally was going to send this ornament to my friend Emily. But I sold this one on Etsy also. So I have to make her a new ornament. It turns out that when you spray these frosted Christmas balls with the protective coating, the frosting goes away. Which is unfortunate, but at least the painting is protected on the ball. I pray that my customers will not be upset by the change in appearance. They will be going out to their new homes in the morning. :D

Black & White Barack Obama Christmas Ornament

I sold this Ornament in my Etsy shop at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6164200. As soon as I get my camera up and working...I will be posting more ornaments to sell. Originally, I thought that I could just recreate the ones that I've already done. But, as I was completing this order, I realized that I can't recreate it...and I so I am offering only One of A Kind hand drawn and hand painted ornaments. I was going to give this ornament to my friend Andi..but I sold it on the shop so Andi will have to get a different one.

Inspiration Block November Paintings

Woman Stetch

This one can turn into something pretty cool. For a long time, these women showed up in a lot of my paintings...these are all praising and worshiping women.

Tree Painting Sketch

This is a sketch that I started of an oak tree. I did a bunch of doodles. I really kind of like how this one turned out. There are a lot of little happy accidents that happened in this painting.

Painting #15

This one is not really worth uploading a whole post for since there is very little variation in color or tone...but later I will link it to how it turns out.

Painting #14

This is not the painting that I had next. I am not sure what I will be doing on these. Stay tuned to see how these transform and emerge into something beautiful and great!

Painting #13

This is another background painting...but it has a lot more going on in it than the ones before this one and the one after this one.

Painting #12

This one is just a background page. This will probably turn into a art journal page at a later date.

Painting #11

This painting looks like a glow worm.

Painting #10

The bottom circle on this one almost looks like a very abstract rose bud.

Painting #9

I like the blue circles in this one...I think they are the only ones in this series...they are fun, splintered and broken. They speak a lot about a lot of things right now.

Painting #8

This one...needs some work. But I am not sure what to do with it...so it will sit until I get word of what to do.

Painting #7

I think that the colors work well in this one. Maybe it's the lack of green. I think this is my preferred palette. Do you have a palette of colors that you love to work with?

Painting #6

I have noticed a recurring theme in most of my work for the last several years...I like circles and swirls a lot! I like the subtle color of yellow in this painting....peeking through the other layers of paint.

Painting #5

This one I really kind of like this one. I like the colors and the swirly circle in this painting...I am interested in what these are going to turn into in the coming months.

Painting#4

So this guy is a painted over guy from a magazine...and I don't know that I like him all that much...the skin tone that I mixed up looks all ashy and creepy. But I do like the idea of taking a base image and altering it.

Painting #3

I am not so pleased with this piece. I don't know why. I guess I feel like it's flat and I don't know if I like the color scheme in this painting..the way that they are working together or against each other...because most of these paintings are from the same palette.

Painting #2

I really kind of like this painting....I like the layers of color and the way that they interact together. Strictly abstract paintings throw me...because for me it seems like there needs to be SOMETHING in the painting for it to be a painting.

Painting #1

So here's the beginning of the paintings that I started in November. I did pretty well last month...doing about 30 works of art...mostly drawings, sketches, paintings, and doodles.
